John recently built a house for us in Nipomo. From the beginning of the process to the completion of his scope of work he was extremely easy to work with. His workers were very nice and courteous, especially since my wife and I were living on the property while the home was built. We would not hesitate to use him again!

Hired John upon recommendation from a carpenter who was a friend. Worst mistake I could have made. Charged me $2200 to replace a water heater. Then charged me to get a permit he failed to get for the work he performed. Totally unprofessional and not trustworthy.

John Godfrey promised us for months that he would get started on our project in Morro Bay California. He kept putting us off! He met with me at our place in Morro Bay and said he would take the job. He gave us a bid. He kept saying I'll get started on it next week. He then said 5 days! Because of this contractor we lost our place in line with two other contractors! He's not a truthful man. One day out of the blue he said he thought maybe it was best that we get another contractor. He said he had finished the job he was on but that they wanted him to do some more work! How dishonest can a man be? Prices have gone up and he caused us lots of grief! BUYER BEWARE!
