We moved to the Lake Oswego a few months ago and purchased a home recently renovated by Kaupo Tammik. The work that was done to this house was VERY POOR at best. All of the showers were leaking, one of which was leaking through the tile floor in the guest bathroom and then into our basement below. Kaupo Tammik also failed to disclose that the basement leaks from hydro pressure during heavy rain. Furthermore, we have also found 4 code violations with concern to the electric and plumbing components of the house. This is only the beginning when it comes to the JENKY, POOR workmanship that Kaupo Tammik put into this home. Other issues were:
- Guest toilet not functional due to improper installation.
- All interior doors were installed without hinges or screws.
- Main bathroom shower rail not secured causing the sliding doors to stick.
- Metal lining in fireplace fell when we were having a fire. The cause was because
Kaupo used glue to secure instead of anchors and screws.
- Kitchen sink was hanging off of the counter because it was not secured properly.
- Dishwasher was not secured to the counter top.
- Garage door wiring was installed incorrectly.
- Kaupo failed to get permits for all work preformed.
Please reconsider hiring this man to do anything, as I would sooner hire my 5 year old to do the work. I give Kaupo Tammik a big FAT "F" for the job he did on our house. Good luck everyone!
