Adam installed drywall and an engineered hardwood floor for us. He spoke with confidence of his abilities and showed us pictures of his previous jobs. He completed work in a timely manner. However, when we questioned his work, he always had an excuse for why he had to do something this way and we left it at that. After he finished and we paid him, we noticed that there we separations in the wood and chips. Mind you I purchased a $10 sq ft mirage floor, so it's not a cheap floor. The flooring company we purchased sent out an installer who fixed certain areas and noticed that Adam not only used the wrong nailer plate but, nailed the wood on the wrong side of the board. He wanted to take a piece of the floor with him so he could show his co-workers as he said they wouldn't believe him. We need someone to fix more spots which we continue to have problems with. I won't go into detail about his taping and spackling job. After we asked him to fix numerous spots, the walls looks horrendous after painting them. In addition, he drilled through all of our surround sound wires. It took us several contractors before we could find one to fix his work. No one wanted their name on his hack job. When contacted Adam again had excuses for his work and refused to give us $ back. Think twice before you make the same mistake we did.
