    Septic System Installation

    Though Justin Konnerup and his team installed a septic system in a unique environment and within restrictive county stipulations, all was fine until it wasn’t. Following an alarm, Justin was initially helpful in resetting but literally did not return calls or resolve the cause thereafter. An inspection is required each year. The inspection failed. Justin and Konnerup do not do inspections. So after calling several other septic companies to determine the cause of the failure (still unresolved and nearly a year later following numerous calls to Justin, personally, I finally got a company (Envirotek) to not only show up, but evaluate and thorough test the entire system. Though not finished yet, Allen has pointed out several issues, thought to be installation over-sites, that are affecting the system functioning properly. Allen has proven to me, why and what the problems are.
    Back to Konnerup. During the construction of my home and the septic installation, I had his personal cell phone number. After calling him directly and never getting return calls, I finally called his “business” phone. Through the conversations and plea for his help (since he was the installer), I was surprised and even appalled at his response, and even sense of pride and moral responsibility. His literal response was he was soooo busy, he couldn’t visit for months. Yesterday, when Envirotek showed up and informed me of the suspected causes of failure, I called Justin, still again, to explain what his competitor had found and again asked him to help me. He listen for a couple of minutes and then literally hung up on me. If you want a contractor to step up to the plate and be responsible for his own work, Justin has proven Konnerup is NOT the company to choose.

    Clear land for a horse pasture.

    We had him to clear our back of our property for a horse pasture. Justin and others played dumb about not understanding how to clear for a horse pasture. They left an enormous amount of major roots large logs and stumps that they covered up with dirt. The last day they were here Justin stayed for a super short time and left a very young guy to work the excavator. He left us a very expensive mess to clean up. They snuck out without a word. Now you can’t get anyone to answer a call text or email. He also sold logs to a logging company. Do not hire. They won’t finish the job correctly. Beyond frustrated

    I hired Konnerup in November of 2015 to replace an old septic system. I hired him because he assured me he could complete the project before the end of the year (2015). The project was not even started until January 26, 2016, and not finished until after March 5, 2016. During all that time Mr. Konnerup did not answer numerous texts, emails and phone calls. Further he did not provide me with information about the completion of the project which I had to find out from other contractors. Replacing a septic system is expensive. Furthermore, very few contractors do this work and their schedules get filled up for months in advance. Once I had agreed to use Mr. Konnerup and then find him to not be completing his work as promised or even in a timely fashion, it was too late to hire someone else or suffer even longer delays. I cannot begin to express my frustration or aggravation with Mr Konnerup and I would never recommend his work to anyone!!!
