Review:
I had an extremely negative experience with Leonid Torchylo and LZS Inc. In my opinion, he operates with dishonest, predatory, and unethical tactics:
Misrepresented the job to get me on-site, then tripled the scope without approval.
Added unpermitted work on neighboring property and dangerous tasks without discussing payment.
Withheld payment even after the project was substantially complete.
Ignores professional advice to cut corners, risking long-term damage to clients’ properties.
Admitted to payroll fraud and regularly avoids permits to save money.
I went above and beyond — 7 days of labor, 7 dump runs, dangerous and unauthorized additions — and was met with disrespect, deception, and refusal to pay.
In my experience, Leo takes advantage of subcontractors, undercuts skilled tradespeople, and prioritizes his profit over honesty, safety, and agreements.
My advice: Hire literally anyone else.
