The quality of the work proved to be, in my opinion, sub-standard as all of the concrete that was poured by this contractor has cracked in numerous places throughout, within a week and a half of the pour and continues to still crack. Also, the day after the pour, the crew had dragged their buckets and tools throughout the newly poured patios and walkways and had scratched and gouged the cement. Also, the concrete had discoloration throughout. The customer service of this company proved to be lacking on this job when the cracking started and throughout the cracking process. Since the contractor was unable to give me any explanation as to why the concrete was cracking so fast and in so many places, I brought in some concrete experts for their opinions. After the experts gave me their reports, they suggested that the concrete be removed or replaced. When I asked MLTC, Inc. to replace all of the cracking concrete, he refused and said to me that he would rather pay $20,000 for a lawyer than redo the concrete. Obviously, customer service and pleasing, me, the customer was not a priority for this company. The contractor, when hired, assured me he would be on site during the construction and failed to be there the majority of the time as promised and especially on the most important day, at the pouring of the concrete. Instead he showed up as the crew was packing to leave the site instead of being there to check the concrete before it was poured. This, obviously, was why I was willing to pay extra to have a contractor do the job. I, personally, would never hire or recommend MLTC, Inc as I would not wish what I went through with him on anyone.
