MADS put our boat lift in for several years. Of course, it was not bought thru them so it was very expensive for what they did. (We did buy our dock from them). Last year they took the lift out and tried to charge me $75 for taking the cover off the lift. They were not asked to do so. My husband went up on that day and had just missed them but made the trip to to take the cover off. They now refuse to put our lift in as I refused to pay the $75. That is fine as I have found someone else that puts the dock and lift in for less then half of what they charge. But my daughter got the cover to the lift out to put on this weekend and they had tore the velcro part off the cover. It is not usable at all. The thing that makes us so upset about it all is that they could of said something so we could of got a new one before it was needed. If they hadn't done what they WERE NOT asked to do I don't think it would be in the shape it is today. Very disappointed with this company and would never recommend them to anyone. Not the first problems we had had with them. Very poor company.

MADS Aluminum connectors stress crack and fail when docks are moved in and out of lake. Anyone else have the problem. I have 3 failures and they refuse to correct and blame the dock movers for the problem. Would not recommend them. Serious safety issue in their system.
