  Tree removal/stump grinding

  This should be a “0” star rating, but I could not post until I picked a star….?I contacted Tim on June 4 and left a message about needing a 75 foot pine tree removed and to grind the stump. Tim has had one excuse after another to not complete this job…I knew he was busy with other jobs, but at no point did he call to say where we were on his list…actually I had to call him, and most of the time there was no response….but each time he would call and say I will be out on a certain day, there was always an excuse for not showing up….that range from his employees being in a car wreck, to their grandfather dying, to employees having heat exhaustion on the day of their grandfathers funeral. So I sent a text message as to why the perpetual delays…was it lack of employees, not having the necessary equipment etc ….what was the problem..I have been waiting over 2 months, looks like he was picking up other work, when this job should have been completed. This tree is dead (struck by lightning) and I am worried if it uprooting, falling into a house etc…. He HAS NOT responded to any inquiries, nothing….I am not sure what kind of an operation he has, but he LACKS common courtesy, integrity/honesty, and just basic customer service….. if he is/was unable to complete this job, Tim needed to say that in the beginning!! I had a total of 5 bids, Tim’s bid was right in with the others….we had 2 tree guys tell us they either didn’t have the experience or the equipment to do it….we had no problem with that, and were glad they were honest enough to say so!! This job would have been completed if I would have gone with his competition.
