Matt Palm Construction is great to work with, and a crew that is well trained for every aspect of construction. They always have the project in forward motion even if surprises come up, they handle it with a positive, we'll take care of it attitude. Great working with you Matt.

Matt Palm Construction is mediocre ... neither the best nor the worst, however for the prices he charges the majority of the work is sub par. If you hire him, we recommend:
1. require proof of current: liability insurance, work comp insurance, CA contractor's license and city business license;
2. acquire any and all building permits required prior to start of job (he prefers to do work without permits);
3. Insist on detailed estimate, listing each and every component of job with pricing, not a "total" only estimate;
4. if extras are added after start of job, insist on price BEFORE allowing work to begin ( he will try to talk you into more work every chance he gets);
5. be present during ALL work to insure all work is done as agreed, no unwanted work is done and charged for, any damage is taken care of, to monitor hours actually worked to avoid overpayment on job, and no unwanted "visitor or friends" of employees are allowed on your property,
6. be aware he says he uses sub contractors but they may, in fact, be employees

We hired Matt Palm and his crew to remodel our home and also help us with remodeling some of our commercial building space. He was very professional and competitive in pricing. In the end everything turned out wonderful and more beautiful then we imagined.
