Absolutely would not recommend. Bathroom remodel was supposed to take 10 weeks but instead dragged for 5 months of intermittent action and idle mess. Subcontractors were unreliable and did poor work, which McClure did not supervise or quality control. Then subcontractors charged sometimes twice as much as original bid and McClure didn’t challenge them on it just passed the charges on to me. We originally agreed upon a do not exceed budget of $30,000. His bill totaled $50,000, plus I had to directly pay vendors and suppliers another $20,000. The project dragged on so long that I just got a handyman to finish things. Please heed this cautionary tale. The fact that he does not have any positive reviews from actually finished projects is damning.
