This company/owner Merv installed Arpiliare 400A digital humidifier at my home for $350 in Sept 2011. He said that humidifier will start working once the humidity will go down in winter. agreed. In december I turned on the humidifier nothing happened. He came and said that oh, i made mistake forgot to put temp sensor and ran the wires in basement. I checked manual and it clearly states that sensor wire needs to run northeast direction of the house. He said no it is not necessary and I know how to do the wiring. I didn't argue. He re-did the wiring and humidifer only worked on test mode. He said probably the humidity is high in home. agreen. Said try it again in 2 weeks. When humidity went down to 29% it was still not working. He gone to some other state for 1.5 months and came back. Said oh...may be controller is faulty. Replaced controller. During this whole process he mentioned 3-4 times that he never installed "Automatic" humidifier. It is still not working and this is April 2012. Finally I contacted Arpiliare and they said that temp sensor needs to be run outside of home not in the basement. I called Merv and he said he will not run temp sensor wire. It cost him money and hung up.
Never do any work with this guy. He is not professional heating guy. May be he can do plumbing but not wiring.
