Called Mike to give me a price on the things I wanted on a small job, along with all the fix-it's and my wish list. After asking me four or six times what my budget was, I gave in and told Mike what I had budgeted to do the job.
He went home and thought about It and came back two days later with the entire project figured out. I was for sure he would spend every cent once I let him know what I had to spend. He came back with my entire wish list and more. I was astonished that the project came back on the low end of what I had planned and it incorporated all the things I wanted, plus some.
It was hard to tell him my budget because I just figured that whatever it was, he would figure out a way to spend it all. He told that me if he knows what he can spend then he can figure out a way to make it happen. Mike said the hardest part is try to design two or three things trying to guess how much a customer has budgeted. If he has a price range, he can work miracles!
He works hard and leaves a clean construction site every night. Not the expected mess and I could see the progress develop by leaps and bounds. He can fix, make, repair, design and all at the highest quality. He was pleasant, professional and very competent. No drama, prompt....I couldn't be happier!
I consider him a friend and a valuable one at that.
