Permits

We purchased a house from Mihaila Investments, and while they did an okay job of flipping a house that was overgrown and had animals living in it. They certainly cut corners. They claimed a new roof, but the dormer on the house did not have its roof replaced. They signed a document saying they never had water intrusion into the house, but within six months of owning we had water get in six different ways. That's not six different times, that's six different methods of water getting in. The worst of which flooded our basement with sewage water. The "finished basement" that will now take several tens of thousands of dollars to fix. They also had an open code violation with the city. I could go on. The house is in okay shape, but we have spent about ten thousand dollars and need to spend a bunch more to make it the house we were sold.
