By C B.January 29, 2021Didn't. they warrantied our new home
Our house was being used as a demo model, so I suppose they took extra care in the construction of this year-old house before we bought it. We kept a "running list" of shortcomings over the next 9 months of out 1st year of ownership so we could present them to Daryl/Mile High for warranty-covered remedy. For the most part, the majority of items were taken care of quickly with exception of the landscaper pulling the dead tree out of our front yard then never returning with its replacement, and the "drywall guy" left dark brown filler caulk wherever he found cracks in door jams and spackled over nails migrating out of the interior walls which are a light grey, saying that the painter would take care of that. The painter has yet to contact us. Daryl has assured us that the items on our list will be addressed even after the 1-year warranty period because we submitted them prior to that time. Then COVID hit screwing up schedules everywhere. Once it warms up, we'll see if the "landscape guy"shows up with a suitable replacement tree and maybe the painter will call us to set up a socially-distanced repair session.

By Linda G.August 16, 2020I purchased a new home from them$1,000,000
I purchased a home in December 2018, I have trouble with my roof leaking water into my home and caused damage to my drywall in my room and garage on November of 2019 from a big snow storm. Darrell stated he repaired the roof and I should not have anymore leaks. His roofer failed to seal the vents and nailed the shingles on my roof with nails. Darryl failed to fix the drywall damage inside my home. The first week of August we had a big rain storm, the roof vent flooded the inside of my home again causing more damage to the inside of my drywall and carpet and left visible stains in the drywall in my garage and master bedroom closet. And my carpet smells like mildew from the flood. Darrell said he would fix my roof, but refuses to fix the drywall that was damaged Inside my home. Darryl wanted to send his painter to paint over the water damage. You can’t cover up a damaged wall with paint. I’m having to go through the attorney general and my insurance to fix a brand new home. I have had other issues with the stucco cracking and falling off my home, and my drive way cement cracking from not being sealed. I talked to other people around the neighborhood that claim they have had the same problems with there homes and are moving because their homes not being built correctly.

Our home was built in 2016, we bought it in 2018. They did a trash job at the tile installation. They didnt use enough adhesive or something, and a ton of the tiles sound hollow underneath them when you knock on them. Some grout started cracking and a tile cracked, so we had to get that repaired. We'll have to address all the hollow sounding areas eventually. We'd also had issues with the shingles on the roof being blown off by wind because those weren't correctly installed, either. There was this one time that a newly built brick wall encousure of a yard across from us just randomly collapsed. Beautiful houses, but cheaply made and you will have issues with them.
