    Tear down build out
    $360,000

    This builder used labor and resources for my project to build one of his own projects and continued to say he had issues with labor due to Covid. He couldn't purchase products I requested he purchase early due to supply and pricing issues and increases and it cost us extra money, and then found out he had been tying up funds with the other property. He had one worker that worked throughout my project and multiple subs that had many errors and issues with their work. The project ended up taking over 3 years and did not complete. He was belittling to my family and told us that we should be proud of ourselves when we had to do some of the work ourselves when he failed to show up. He did not GC his workers and my family had to constantly follow up after the crew to check to see if things were done correctly. He came back and asked for more money for things and I cut items out of my budget to have projects completed and they were not done correctly. I looked into some of the plumbers and electricians he used and they also have multiple complaints against them. My windows still leak, my electric was not done all the way through to the basement, my drywall was the wrong size and caused issues with doors and trim, his drywall guys left crack and pits and used old drywall that sat in the house for over a year when the house wasn't fully enclosed and had crumbling edges and it shows. Then when primed the painter stopped short of fully priming the walls and used black primer in an area because he ran out of white. He changed the framing of the house so that the front looks like it has a blank area instead of a roof portion coming under the dormer on one side. He did things without checking and cheapened installs without asking. We paid extra for any upgrades we put in and we were more than fair in our addressing of timeliness and workmanship. I do not recommend anyone use this builder.
