Our cabinets were installed less than a year ago, and the photos depict the issues with chipping and cracked paint that have been an ongoing problem since installation. PCC argued with us that our kitchen/bathroom does look good from 10 to 15 feet away, and unless someone is standing closer, they probably wouldn't notice all the paint that is chipping off or the cracks in the paint finish. However, as the customer and end user, we are constantly looking at these defects on a daily basis, and realize we were not given a good quality product. Our good-intentioned friends and family have pointed out these dents/cracks/paint chips to us, (in trying to be helpful), and we end up feeling embarrassed about our kitchen cabinets.
It is important for other potential clients to understand that we have had PCC design come back multiple times to fix chipping and cracked paint, but the problem continues to happen. It seems that every time they came to fix one problem, another one was created. For example, they took over 10 doors back to the factory to be re-finished, and those doors were reinstalled back with the wrong paint finish. Now we have alternating doors that are a different gloss paint finish, mismatched in our kitchen. They have stopped responding to our request to fix the defects. They have essentially walked away from our project.
