    Plumbing
    $285

One star reviews sound inflated. If I can give them 0 stars I would. Talk about unscrupulous business practices.
First: customer service is horrible. If you like listening to repetitive elevator music for 20 minutes on hold to get scheduled service then this is the plumbing company for you.
Second: Allan the plumber shows up and gives my warranty company AHS a B.S. diagnosis. Tells them he needs to replace the supply line valve to the toilet. Which is not leaking at all and considered a modification. Which means I would have to contact all the 16 residents in my condo complex and shut off the water main line to our building. So in essence he is looking for an additional $200 out of my pocket for this modification and cause a huge inconvenience to the association. Mind you the only reason he was called was a drip coming from a toilet bowl screw due to the washer being worn out. The reason I know this is because I fixed it myself by buying a $5 washer set turning off the supply line water and replaced it myself using the YouTube videos in regards to this specific issue.
Best to stay clear of this company at all cost.

They are the worst company to deal with!!!. remember if they are assigned by your "Home Warranty Company" you could REQUEST FOR A DIFFERENT COMPANY, as they are the scam of the industry!! Just recently had a dis attached (came off) sink strainer & the Home Warranty company "AHS" assigned them to fix this very petty small item. Their suggestions was to charge extra $175 that really took my plumber only 20 minutes and not much of hardship to change!!
Keep in mind they usually come in with the statement " it needs modification"! If I would have used them for sure I would have videoed all the repair process and present it and file a complaint with the general attorney and the Better Business Bureau for ripping off the public.

There was no modification my understanding of modification is when you have to totally change the whole route / plumbing/ system , otherwise it is only a repair. I have the photos to proof and I had more complicated items "repaired" with the AHS and their vendors at no extra costs.

    Sink plumbing pipe
    $400

9.4.22. Refused to fix broken pipe. Technician inspected sink pipe and told me it was an old pipe and it was an air conditioner condensation pipe and it wasn’t a plumbing issue and to call an air conditioner repair tech. However, In his written report he reported the sink pipe broken due to manual force, which was NOT true. The repair job was likely too small and not worth his time. Took $75 inspection fee and refused to come back and fix the pipe.

    Water heater replacement

Plumber Inc. was assigned to us through American home shield for our water heater. The technician's name was Michael and he was a nice guy in person. He said that the water heater needs to be replaced but there will be out of pocket charges for us. He confidently assured me that the out of pocket expense is going be maximum $600 and he gave me a break down of the pricing i.e. water line, expansion tank, tray, electrical .... He then said that the out of pocket expense can be a couple of hundred less if AHS covers items related to code upgrades like the expansion tank and the earthquake straps.
I came to find out that AHS cover up to $250 for those items and the out of pocket cost should be less than $400. later I got a bill of $675 which all the non-covered items being more expensive than what Michael told me. I called Michael and he agreed that this is not right and the Plumber Inc. office shouldn't have done that but and said that he is gonna call and have them change it to $500. That never happened and he blocked my number after I tired to call and follow up with him.
Every time I called the Plumber Inc. office they put me on hold whiteout telling me for how long. I called three different times and asked to talk to a supervisor and they said a supervisor is gonna call me after a day or tow but that never happened after calling them three times. The dispatch ladies are also not very nice and couldn't do any help and basically said it is what it is.
This company is a fraud and I'd never do business with Plumber Inc.

    Replace broken shower valve
    $75

American Home Shield sent Plumbers Inc to fix a broken shower valve on 1/6/22. Jimy said he would return with the part. Never heard from him or AHS. I made several calls to find out the plumber said it was broken by force so claim denied! I told AHS that they are lying and just don't want to do the job. The valve is 28 years old - installed when the house was built in 1994. They still charged the service fee. I hired another contractor and they took the time to disassemble the unit carefully. They determined that the parts were old and worn due to normal wear and tear. No sign of force. They did have to open a hole on the opposite side of the shower (which is inside the closet with easy access) to install the new valve. Contractor told me that is probably why Plumbers Inc lied because it's not worth it to them to take on jobs that are more difficult or time consuming. They know AHS will believe them over the customer. Very sad!!!! We the customers need to make others aware of these businesses that have no scruples. Today, 2/24/22, I got an email where I can submit my paid invoice and request a reimbursement for replacement of the valve that should have been done by Plumbers Inc. If AHS does the right thing and reimburses us, I will let you know. Hopefully, they will fire Plumbers Inc and other contractors like them that are giving them a bad reputation. They also need to better train their staff and get some management involved to make timely decisions for their customers. Keeping my fingers crossed.

No hot water in bathtub/shower. American Home Shield contracted them.

Incompetent and unprofessional! Dan replaced our cartridge to an upstairs bath tub/shower faucet. It began leaking and leaked for 10 minutes after it was turned off after he replaced the cartridge. AHS sent Dan back out and he put in another new cartridge. He did not know why it was dripping for up to 10 minutes after it was turned off and said the company would get back to me, but they never did. American home shield sent Chris out and he said it was not a problem because it stopped leaking/dripping after 10 minutes. Chris told AHS that I was complaining and there was not a problem. I called Kohler and was told it was a 2 part cartridge that should have been replaced. The mixer cap and the pressure balance unit, plus 2 sets of o rings should have been replaced. Kohler said it should not drip when it is turned off. It did not drip before they replaced the cartridge. When I called plumbers Inc. back to find out exactly which part they replaced, Dolores said the notes only stated that it was the cartridge. She said she would call Dan to see if he remembered which cartridge he replaced and would call me back if he did remember. I have tried calling them and of course they won’t answer. Do not use plumbers Inc. They are incompetent and unprofessional.

    Fix toilet
    $75

Plumbers Inc has bee sent out to me by American Home Shield (AHS).
I have had several plumbing problems. In each case, AHS has sent out plumbers from Plumbers Incorporated, a company in Riverside. The technician from Plumbers, Inc will diagnose the problem, and then no one gets back to me. When I call, there is always some sort of excuse: "We needed to get authorization" is a common one. The left hand does not know what the right is doing. When I call, the AHS phone service operators have no idea what Plumbers Inc doing. The people on the phone at Plumbers, Inc clearly do not want to give good service. Recently AHS arranged for a technician from Plumbers Incorporated to come to my house on 1/14/22 to look at a toilet that was leaking at the base. He made the diagnosis, took my $75 from my credit card as the service fee, and said he would need to get the parts. I received a phone call on 1/15/22 which stated he'd return on 1/16. He never came or called. And yet the job is listed as "Completed" on the AHS website. I called Plumbers Incorporated. They said "Of course he can't come. That's a Sunday. We don't work then." Then why was I told he'd come then? No call or email since then. I finally called Plumber's Incorporated yesterday; no one picked up in any of the several times I called.
I then called AHS. The person on the phone was barely comprehensible.
AHS schtick is to blame everything on the subcontracted technician and pretend that this is the problem. Each blames it on the other. This is their schtick.
They have no desire to give good service.
Both AHS and Plumbers Inc give you the runaround. A toilet needs to be fixed IMMEDIATELY. Plumbers Inc needs to go out of business. And then, nothing. No phone call from Plumbers Inc. Today is 1/26 and nothing.

These guys were sent by American Home Shield.
He diagnosed that I need a filter for my bathroom faucet.
The plumber last year that American Home Shield sent said the exact same thing. That plumber was from a different company, but never came back to repair.
The Plumbers Inc person said he would get the filter and come back to install.
As he's leaving he notices my outdoor faucet off to the side and says "let me check your water pressure... oh no, look at this! It's high. Do you see? You need a regulator."
Guess what, people. Do your research. It's a totally unnecessary very expensive upsell. I looked into it and spoke to several professionals this past week. Definitely not needed for my house. So I awaited the return to replace the filter in my faucet.
Instead, I get a call from American Home Shield and they said they are rejecting my repair request because I have high water pressure!!!!!!!!
You are all despicable. AHS and Plumbers Inc.

Fixing Toilets and water heater Pump Through AHS

Called AHS more than 50 days ago. 1st technician came and left in 5 minuets. took them 2 weeks to say that I had to pay $540 extra to fix the water heater' pump because AHS not covering it complete. For toilets, took another 2 weeks. Another technician came (Stewart, they call him). He said nothing was wrong with toilets. He did not even check the flush not working, he did not see the leak and water wasting. They are not doing the job. AHS had to switch to another Plumber company.
Never again dealing with PlumbersInc . Technician Stewart with an attitude, rude & unprofessional and this peace of Art yelled at my son when I was not at home. Their customer service call answered after more than 15 minutes. Job was reported completed when it was not.
Very very poor service . Zero rating

    Plumbing repair

Plumbers inc has been absolutely despicable!
I notice all the people with American home shield, who contracts them, are saying the same thing about their service. I’ve now have had two technicians come out and nothing has been repaired. 2 months have gone by. The first technician said they can replace everything (sink faucet, shower faucet and old toilet) , about a week and a half go by and we hear nothing. I called the company and they said the plumber who came to our home no longer works there. They “just found out that day” and will schedule a new plumber. New guy comes out (Jimmy) and has nothing but attitude, accuses me of recording him just because I had my phone in my hand and mumbled something about water pressure. Two weeks later we have heard nothing. I called home shield and they said toilet and faucets are not cover because it wasn’t normal wear and tear because my house has too much water pressure (never thought my pressure was too strong,). Then they diagnosed my shower faucets as being broken from excessive force, So also not covered. We have had home shield repair the shower faucet handles at least 5 times and the parts have been stripped and the repair does not last long. It is old and aged and needs to be replaced.
Home shield says we can call the plumbers inc. to have them repair what is not cover. Sounds like a scam and a convenient way for they to cash in more money on the job directly without home shield.
I’ve never had these kind of issues with home shield before and I’ve had them for over 15 years.

However I did ask if home shield could assign me a new plumber and they said they couldn’t so I am upset about that. They recommended that I call plumbers inc. and request a senior technician to come back to re-evaluate if I as not happy with the previous technician. But I really don’t want to deal with this company and don’t feel like I can trust any of them considering all the bad reviews.

I currently have a claim with American Home Shield for my heating unit. I have been dealing with Plumbers Inc since January 6th and it still has not been fixed! They have horrible service. Every time I call for an update I get the run around! Do not use this company nor American Home Shield. It is not worth the time money or effort trying to get things fixed.

    Plumbing
    $20,000

This company was sent out by my home warranty company American Home Shield and they were supposed to fix a leak in my 2nd-floor bathroom. The person they sent out, went into the bathroom started messing with things loudly, then went out to his vehicle, got out a really large tool, and went back upstairs. He was up there for about 20 mins, then he comes down and asked if the water was off? I told him yes, I had said something to him when he came into my home and pointed out the people doing work on the line. So he goes back upstairs for about 5 more minutes, yells that he will have to come back to check his work, I tell him ok, go up there lock the bathroom door, and he leaves. About an hour later, water comes flooding out of my light fixture in the ceiling. I run upstairs, the plumber had left the water on! And make the original leak worse!. My bathroom was flooded and my hallway. When I called them Plummer's INC back, I was told that they would send the Plummer back out, then I got a call from the Plummer, saying he would not be able to make it. He then calls me on my phone from a personal number to give me the name and number of a company to dry out my HOUSE!. When I contact Plummers Inc back and tell them what happen, the very RUDE lady who answers the phone hangs up on me. I had to tall from my son's babysitter's phone just to get someone to answer! Then she tells me that he didn't touch anything, that he was only here to look! When I tell her we have camera's in our home and one pointing to the bathroom due to my son's autism. She yells that it's not his fault and he didn't have to do anything and hangs up. For the last 6 months, my home owner's insurance and my HOA insurance have been trying to get ahold of this company and they have not been answering their calls. I Found this number on the BBA and it is the first time I have talked with anyone from this company in 8 months! They caused over 20,000 in damage to my home from leaving the water on! AND STILL HAVE NOT SENT THE REPORT TO AMERICAN HOME SHIELD OR ANY OF THE INSURANCE COMPANIES! .. Our homeowners (USAA) was given the impression that this company does not carry insurance!

    Replace hot water heater.

It would be funny if it weren’t so sad. We recently bought a house, it came with a home warranty from American Home Shield. On Tuesday October 20, 2020 I noticed we did not have hot water anymore so I went out to our garage and saw that there was water leaking out of the hot water heater all over the garage area. I called our home warranty people, American Home Shield, and put in a claim. They gave us a plumber who was supposed to help us. They sent me Plumbers Inc.’s name and number and I was told to use this plumbing company. I called Plumbers Inc. right away, Tuesday morning. I spoke with a gentleman who told me that he looked at the schedule and they could have someone out to replace the hot water heater the next day, Wednesday. However, after the gentleman found out that I had gone through our home warranty company, he told me that he had looked at the “wrong schedule” and he was wrong, they could not come out the next day to fix it. He said on the “other schedule”, the soonest anyone could get out there was Friday! [Four (4) days later!!] I reminded him that the hot water heater was “leaking” everywhere in the garage. He told us again that the soonest anyone could replace it was Friday. I told him that was unacceptable. Shows that they have a “regular schedule” for people paying out of pocket and a “second schedule” for people who are not as important and are going through their home warranty. Right.

The company highly favors their regular out of pocket paying customers over customers going through a home warranty company - even though they are contractor to do the work. After reading Plumbers Inc.’s reviews, I’m so glad that their representative looked at the “wrong schedule” and couldn’t fit us in. It seems we aren’t the only “unhappy customer” of Plumbers Inc. Save your time, money and frustration and find another plumber to use – there are many out there in your area, so looked elsewhere!!!

Repair terrible bathtub faucet/piping damage done by a prior plumber (Drainco of Whittier CA) as pro

Yesterday Damon Munoz of Plumbers, Inc. installed new bathtub fixtures and repaired destructive damage done by an earlier plumber sent to us by American Home Shield, specifically Drainco Plumbing in Whittier CA. Drainco, when arriving to repair a leaking bathtub faucet, had difficulty removing the faucet handle and ended up sawing off all the parts and piping leaving my master bathtub a mess. He damaged the tub in three places using his saw. In summary, it has been a mess since May 5 when I filed my original request for repair with American Home Shield. I won't go into any more detail except to say I made 23 phone calls to American Home Shield and multiple calls to Drainco from May to October in an attempt to get the problem fixed.

Now I want to tell you that Damon of Plumbers, Inc. was my Knight in Shining Armor yesterday, 10/2.

He did a beautiful job making the repair and installing the new fixtures and equipment and we want you to know how satisfied we are with the wonderful job he did. He is knowledgeable and fast and professionally friendly. He did your company proud yesterday.

Thank you for taking care of our messy, messy problem.

    Sincerely,

    Martha Fonteneau

    Water heater repair under warranty
    $450

This company was inefficient, unprofessional, and constantly tried to increase prices for work they were set to do under a warranty plan. The repair day came, and they are now saying that the repairs they were scheduled to make were not necessary or correct.
Please avoid this company: they are just terrible!

American Home Shield water breakage assessment for ball valve failure
    $400

I have 2 broken ball valves coming directly out of my home that are faulty and create a water breakage. They connect the copper pipe in the home and under the cement behind my home. I cannot shut off the water coming out of the home because the ball valves (two of them) have failed.
I read the American Home Shield contract and paid $75 for a plumbing company to quote us. American Home Shield assigned Plumber's Inc. On 31 July a friendly and competent technician looked at the issue and spoke with us for 30 minutes. He agreed that it would be covered by American Home Shield as it was an issue with the ball valves attached by both ends to the home's copper pipes creating a water breakage and NOT a sprinkler issue (sprinkler issues are not covered under Home Warranty).
Upon his departure the technician gave me a copy of the quote purchase order # 5713275992 and it states:
    1. 3/4 ball valve. Both left (half shut off) and right side (completely seized shut, free spinning valve handle).
I got an email from American Home Shield on 4 August saying that my Home Warranty does not cover my sprinkler system and that my request has been denied. I called them immediately and explained that it is a failed ball valve in the home's copper pipe creating a water breakage. It is not a failed sprinkler system I am trying to repair. Plumber's Inc did not include the TWO failed ball valves in their assessment of my home issue to AHS, instead they wrote to AHS that my sprinkler system would not shut off. This is a flagrant disregard of the issue and only speaks to the symptom which Plumber's Inc knows would not be covered by AHS. I believe the intent is for Plumber's Inc to collect money from American Home Shield and myself after I am unable to get coverage from warranty.
I am greatly disappointed and upset after reading the above reviews because AHS has obviously had multiple negative experience with Plumber's Inc and they still assigned them to my home. Secondly, I am disappointed with Plumber's Inc for quoting the issue in person as a water breakage issue and 2 faulty ball valves and then "failing to include them" in the official quote to AHS and just saying that it is a sprinkler system issue. EVEN THOUGH I have a copy of the quote from Plumber's Inc stating that it is a water breakage due to two faulty ball valves.
Since Plumber's Inc failed to correctly report the problem to AHS, now I have to schedule and wait on a 2nd opinion. This is unsatisfactory as this water breakage is continuing to cost me money on my monthly water bill. The water department has also noticed the increase in water usage and called me twice and left notes to notify that there is a water breakage in my home and my numbers are much higher than normal.

    Fix hose bib leaking
    $50

Chris arrived on time and I was alerted of his arrival 30 minutes prior via email. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about my plumbing issue. He had the new part installed and wrapped up in about 15 minutes. This was a great experience compared to other plumbing companies that I’ve dealt with in the past. I highly recommend using their services! Thank you Chris
