Matt Porter, the owner of Porter Mechanical, is another outstanding contractor whose small business was recommended to me on Facebook's Coopersburg Living Group. Not only did he show up the next day on a Friday for an immediate central AC replacement estimate, but was able to start installation the following Tuesday. The timing was critical in my situation---my husband has asthma and COPD, and I have allergies and a-fib, which also makes it hard to breathe.
Matt and his associate, Danny, were clean, efficient, professional, responsive; in other words everything you want from an HVAC contractor. Matt answered all my questions, explained everything in terms I could understand, and was obviously knowledgeable and enjoys his work. He helped me choose a combined AC/heat pump system with back-up heat for extra low temperatures. He took photos of all my old system's equipment and made sure everything he installed was correct. He also was able to perform some needed rewiring in my breaker box to accommodate the new unit.
Everything he did went as smooth as could be, no issues, no missing or incorrect parts, no delays, just beautiful cold air one day before the first heat wave of 2022 started. THANK YOU, MATT!!
