  Bathroom Renovation

  CG Consulting & Design Complaint

  I, Wilfredo Delacruz, entered into a contractual agreement with CG Consulting and Design Inc. (CGC1505627) in July 3rd, 2023. The project was to have the master bathroom and shower renovated. The project has now completed on February 19th, 2024. This process has been a major pain to my home and my family, and a waste of a lot of my time and money.

  We have had problems with the renovation from the very beginning. At the time of our consultation, we were quoted that the materials for the project would arrive in approximately 8 to 10 weeks. After that lead up time, demolition for the project started. During demolition we were notified that the initial and secondary measurements taken for the bathroom were not done correctly. Items ordered for the renovations would not fit the job correctly. We then had to wait another 8 to 10 weeks for correctly sized parts to arrive. It wasn’t until December of 2023 that the project construction could begin. This is now 24 weeks into our agreement with your company. During construction we were told that the frames shower door were not present. We were told that the parts were not in the warehouse and would have to be ordered. We then had to wait another month for these items to arrive. This is when the install could be completed, eight months after our initial agreement.

  If the issue was just waiting for items to arrive then that might have been acceptable, but the company’s staff, contractors, and assigned workers have a major problem with communication. We were left in the dark as to what was happening, or when things would get done. We would have to move our schedules around anytime your company was available to do work because we did not know whether the project would be completed. The quality of the work isn’t worth the wait either. The shower frames have been installed crooked and the door does not open and close as it should. Be better, CG Consulting and Design.

  As a customer, I would never put myself through something like this again. Some might reply that these are the things one must put up with during construction, but I have had multiple renovation jobs and none have been as much grief as this one. We will never be satisfied with the work completed and feel the $11,500 price tag was definitely not worth it. This has been a poor and unprofessional handling of my renovation. My experience with this company makes me never want to recommend them to anyone moving forward.
