Richard came out to provide an estimate for a small project at my home which included some landscaping, replacement of deck and painting. He said he could do the job and provided a written estimate. Upon my accepting his proposal, he said he would get back to me with a contract. After a couple of days he claimed he was having an issue with his computer and could not email the contract, he would deliver it to my house. This went on for several days with him not showing up and stalling. Finally I received a text message from him informing me that he had gotten 2 large jobs and was turning down my job because he wouldn’t make enough money from it. He provided the estimate. It wasn’t my fault if he undercut himself on pricing. To give assurances of his ability and willingness to perform the job, then make excuses to stall the contract and ultimately turn it down wasted much of the time I could have spent finding another contractor. While he may have made him more money, the way he handled my potential business was extremely unprofessional.

We hired Richard to frame our deck. He said it would take roughly 4 days to complete . It was done in 3 days and under budget. Richard is very reliable contractor. Would defiantly use him again

We hired Richard to rebuild our sheds In Brigantine. He did fantastic work right up until the end where he needed more money to buy supplies to finish gel coating the roof. $400. Then sung and danced his way from June until now and dissappeared. Just 1 lie after another about being out next Thursday and so on and so on. A full 5 months from the original project start.

I highly recommend RF Home Improvements. Rich remodeled are master bathroom for us. His estimate wasn't the lowest but wasn't the highest either. We went with him based on his referrals and word of mouth. There work is very clean and communication was excellent. We are very happy we The decision to have Rich and his company do are work

Payment one thing still needed to be completed on my deck, he stalled and never returned. Also pressured me to leave a good review on the trex website before I was really ready to. On to the next job leaving the previous one unfinished. I reached out so many times only to be blown off and then he stopped responding.
