    ? WARNING: DO NOT HIRE GENERAL CONTRACTOR RICARDO MICHEL ?

    I’m posting this to warn others — **DO NOT do business with Ricardo Michel**. He is **completely dishonest** and untrustworthy. I hired him for a project, and it turned into a nightmare.
    ***Ricardo is the WORST contractor you can deal with, Doing the worst work quality you can ever experience in your life.

    ❌ **Job Abandonment** – He walked off the job before it was completed, leaving my property in worse shape than when he started.
    ❌ **Poor Workmanship** – The quality of the work he *did* complete was substandard, sloppy, and failed to meet even basic construction standards.
    ❌ **Fraudulent Lien** – He filed a **fraudulent mechanic’s lien** against my property. This is not just unethical – it's a **felony** under **California Penal Code Section 115 PC** to knowingly file a false document in a public office.
    ❌ **Safety Violations** – He **neglected key safety regulations**, including failure to provide fall protection, hazard communication, and proper scaffolding. These are serious violations and should be **cited by OSHA**.
    ❌ **Failure to Follow Specifications** – He didn’t follow the agreed-upon plans and left parts of the job unfinished or completely wrong.

    His disregard for legal and safety standards is shocking, and I would strongly caution *anyone* from hiring or working with him. This experience has been financially and emotionally draining — I’m speaking up so others don’t go through what I did.

    ? **You’ve been warned. Stay far away from Ricardo Michel.**
