Simply the best! Went above expectations! Complete makeover of our yard.Built a new patio, walk around path for a large built in pool, built a Step up patio for diving board and installing waterfalls, gorgeous L shape outdoor kitchen, placed new stone work over 2 chimneys. This is the place to go to!

    Buyer Beware

Rock Solid was asked to break up existing residential driveway and sidewalks, and to replace with new concrete. That part went fine. The Spanish-speaking workers were terrific. However, problems began when I saw that the contractor did not order enough material. Therefore, two concrete truck deliveries were needed. When he first showed up, he seemed to have forgotten what he was supposed to do, saying, "Oh, you want new concrete there, too?" [We did review what I wanted previously.] The result now is two shades of concrete color and a large crack between the two pours. Just four months after the pour, cracks also began in the driveway and sidewalks: a dozen cracks in all, some as long as 20 feet. When I called the company about this, his response was: "Concrete cracks." However, poor preparation of the worksite is evident because the contractor used very little steel wire reinforcement prior to the pour. I was present during the work. I would not recommend Rock Solid of Long Island. The job was handled poorly and may have to be redone, costing me thousands more. The worst part: I feel cheated. I was stupid to pay cash and not have a signed contract. Never again.
