I hired Sacred Spaces in October of 2014 to design and build a straw bale healing Sanctuary. The design is wonderful and the relationship during construction was dreadful. Communication was almost nonexistent, the time frames and budget were unrealistic which became apparent when there the money ran out 2/3 of the way through. The builder was unfamiliar with building codes and the flow of construction phases. He presented himself as a "green" builder and what we got was an expensive experience of paying for his trial and error. Many of the techniques and aspects used on the job, he had no or minimal prior success with. We ended up, completing much of the building without him. 20 months later and it is still not complete and there are many issues to be corrected.
