    Fix door jam and gate

    Joel basically ripped us off. I had a simple project that he had bod to do... fix an exterior door jam, and repair a wood gate and post. He quoted me for three hours of work, plus minimal materials. He did a cosmetic fix on the french door jam, but in the process threw the door out of alignment, and the tried to hide it by keeping the anchor door shut, and hoping I wouldn’t open it!?! Then gave me a bunch of weird excuses why the door wouldn’t shut properly. He also saw clear wood rot in the bottom of the actual door, and rather than alerting me, he hap hazzardly tried to reattach the hinge to cover it up, and again hoped I wouldn’t notice!... and all this was the better part of the job he did!
    He completely hacked the gate, claimed he “planed” the door, but actually carelessly cut it down with a circular saw, left the deadbolt hardware off, and told me it should be easy for me to fox the rest. In addition, there were other parts of the job that were incomplete. When I addressed it with him, he complained that it took him nearly six hours to do the (crappy) job that he did, and he would have to charge me more to redo the work correctly. This guy is a complete hack, and pretty much a criminal. I’m still considering contacting the better budiness bureau and reporting this fraud. I’m also happy to provide photo evidence to anyone interested in seeing exactly how bad the work was... leave a comment and contact info and I will send.
    Stay away from this guy.

    Hard person to keep tracking down. Still owes my company for work performed at jobsite 1950 Beachwood!!!!!, $ 641.50... Promised to pay..then never returned numerous calls..Joel if you want this negative review removed, pay me the money you owe me.
