I used to work for Searcy Construction. I am no longer in this trade, and was let go by Kevin due to there not being enough work when the housing bubble started collapsing. I hold no grudge whatsoever though. i was let go for valid reasons and am now currently pursuing a degree in computer science. While working for Kevin Searcy, I was never asked to do anything underhanded and in fact, Kevin insisted that you do things the right way. He paid a fair wage and was honest, which is rare. In fact, I was recruited to go to work for another company after working for Kevin. After only 5 months I could not stomach working for this other company as they were constantly asking you to cheat the customers. This company performed home warranty services, and is no longer in business. I voluntarily let that company and returned to Kevin's company until the work dried up.
Kevin is a very knowledgeable person in construction issues and most importantly, he is very fair and honest. I personally would call him first if I needed work done.
I should note that because of Kevin's honesty, most of our work was cleaning up the messes left by other not so honest contractors. This can be verified through Orkin, who utilized Searcy Construction for just this purpose.
