I hired Gabriel to install a French Drain. Sadly, he left a mess for me to deal with. In short his workers dug the drain. It rained and I saw water was sitting. I asked him not to cover what he dug as I was concerned the water was not draining. After letting it sit for three days he covered the work before I could have a landscape contractor assess his work. I asked him to uncover what I had asked him not to cover and despite telling me he would he didn't. The morning the landscape contractors came he was argumentative and talked over everyone. All of the sudden he wanted more money to uncover what I had specifically asked him not to cover. He also didn't get rid of some of the concrete he demolished and left slopes going towards my house when there wasn't one. He basically dug the drain but didn't remove all the dirt. It's supposed to rain and he is refusing to reimburse me or undo his work. I would not hire Gabriel.
