Work was not completed to code. Another contractor had to be hired who discovered many egregious errors as work done by Tanzini was taken out to repair and bring to code: no insulation in exterior wall where doorwall was replaced by window. Cut a major support beam that caused the near collapse of the house and required emergency measures to save, used no moisture barrier behind and below new shower enclosure tiles and bed. Many more problems, but too long to list.

I hired him for full house reno and every work he did was a disgrace and I had to redo. The works includes installing new front and rear side doors, painting entire house, replacing exterior small wood on post, mounting kitchen cabinets. Do not hire this guy; he will bluff you and cheat you in every possible way. Do not take his advice or his crew's advice. They know absolutely nothing about any building codes or workmanship or craftsmanship. He will use any excuse that is blatantly wrong and defies any physics to get away. Example, new doors installed; you would have to kick it open with you foot due to jamming. Piping for plumbing was off-center and leaking. Ceiling paint was so thin that I can see through the old paint. In all cases, he found an excuse. For ceiling paint, the studs and drywall fault but when I insisted he repaint, then it goes away and has nothing to say after that. Doors jamming, the new door has problems and it is off.
You been warned.
