Hired this contractor to replaced wood on small deck porch and reinstall gutters, to replace a small piece of wood at corner of deck where the wood had rotted. He replaced wood and attached gutters but at the middle and to the end of gutter work the gutters were not flush with wood and he replaced the small piece of wood that had rotted with a smaller piece of wood than was up there, causing water to run onto porch where it had never leaked before. After this, I called him several times to ask him to come back and replaced the wood with the correct size of wood and he would not he as a matter of fact said no. He said I will stop the leak. We had another rain and it was wet at the same place. Got someone to look at roof and he had placed a large piece of flat tin over my existing tin roof, left screws up on roof and when he had put the smaller piece of wood up there he had made more holes in my tin trying to get the wood in. Messed up that part of roof. I called him and said he took advantage of me. I said why in the world would you put a piece of tin over a piece of tin and he said to stop the leak, no sealant or anything was put down. He said I can't do anything else and I said I think I need a partial refund and hung up me. I was paying for materials and labor. He just took advantage of me. So now I'm dealing with gutters that are almost exactly like they were except new wood which will probably not last long because they way they were installed. He does it his way and not the way it should be done and won't listen to customer. I would not recommend him to anyone. Would not want him back on my property.
