Shane from Valasedes Contraction, INC., came highly recommend to me by our accountant who I trust with the upmost. I contracted Shane to remodel my garage into an office space and small kitchen.
If you don't take care of your client, your client will not take care of you! This guy says one thing and then does another. His communication absolutely sucks. And to top it all off he doesn't finish his work 100%. This is what needs to get done for the work that was started to be complete...
Wet room (kitchen):
~ caulking where the sink meets the wall (a small area) and around the window
~ 5 tiles that are chipped
~ grouting that needs to be cleaned up
~ the floor, tile, looks dirty. need to be cleaned
~ there are many tiles that are scratched in several places
~ paint on the floor and still on the sink area
~ paint towards the bottom of the walls does not look even (from eye level up paint is even, from eye level down paint does not look evenly painted)
Office:

I've emailed him on March 22 and received a response on March 23, an unprofessional email blaming me for him not getting his work done and making untrue accusations. I've emailed Shane 3 times since his response and I have not heard back from him. This review is a result of him not responding.
What I learned....Never pay a contractor the full payment until the work is completed 100%. I thought I could trust this person.
I was going to hire Shane to build apartments on my property next year and there is NO way that's going to happen now!! That's a total bummer, his is a really nice person just as a business person he absolutely sucks!
