Zack asked me to reimburse some permitting to start out our project, since then i find out he submitted no permits, and has continued to ghost me, he did finally write me a check... but of course it bounced. The guy comes off nice and honest, but hes a liar and stole my money, currently taking him to small claimed.

Literally has ghosted me and fallen off the face of the earth. Hes all talk and superficial. Don't pay him a dime until he completes your job - he never got the permit for our add on and we hired him in 2020 to do this job - he said 8 weeks, and I'm not kidding, it took 13 months. He drug everything out and time & time again I gave him the benefit of the doubt.
I will update this if he completes his end of the deal, but he left me with a non-permitted add on (he told me it was 100% not needed, and after I looked it up, my add on checked every box for a permit!) So now I'm dealing with the city trying to get this structure permitted after the fact.
What. A. Pain! Do not recommend this business at all unfortunately. Everything that impressed me initially has completely gone out the window with his lack of response and falling off the face of the earth. -

Don't be fooled. This guy will take your money and run and lie all along the way. Consider this fair warning. Stop! Don't do it! Hired Zack for a two to three month job. 11 months later he has left our building on stilts, not paid a majority of his sub contractors, taken the money and ran.

By Jody N.October 20, 2021home remodel
I hired Zack to do a remodel of my kitchen and powder bath, laundry room, replace flooring, and remove a wall and relocate a fireplace. Had I known this would be way over his head I would never have hired him. After paying him 3/4 of the invoice amount and 2 1/2 months later with nothing finished I had to fire him. Now, I have to hire a new contractor to come in and redo multiple things that his guys did wrong or did not finish all together. He does not communicate with you and when he does it is all lies. He kept saying he had cabinets coming and an island and a window, etc. None of which ever happened when he said it would. I would seriously think twice before hiring him to do your job.

We were a subcontractor on a job for Visual Concepts. This was in November. We have yet to be paid. Visual Concepts was paid but he has not paid any of the sub contractors that worked for him. Visual Concepts has repeatedly told me they will pay. We won't work for them again.

He is a liar and overcharged my mom by $27,000 because his excel formulas were entered wrong, we did not discover this until we paid to have all the spereadheets audited. WE paid for a garage door that was never delivered and bascially stole that money. He walked off the job and had to pay another contractor to finish before she could get final occupancy. So many things not correct, framing not square, deck not built correctly , now rotting. She paid for $25,000 worth of tile work to Zach but he never paid his sub, so got a knock on my door asking if we knew where contactor was. He never returned our calls or the tile perosn. He tried to file a lien against my mom but he did not do it in a timely manner so he never got paid. A real scam artist and should be in jail!
