    We had several proposals done and then we found Walter. We called Walter in May 2020 and the next day he was at our door step. He LOOKED honest but don’t be fooled. We hired Walter to build an ADU after he explained the whole process we decided to go with him. He said we would have to give him $1000 for contract signing. In the next few days he and his drafter came to our house and measured. The following day they had an layout for us and if we decided to go forward with it we would have to give him ten thousand dollars for plan submitting and drafter fees. We never heard from him again until 3 months later when we went to the city to find out about the plans. It was then that we found out that the plans had never been submitted. We called him that day and he would not respond. It wasn’t until we found his home address online and we went to his home to request that he answered our phone calls or messages. Long story short and after many back and forth we were in December and we found out that plans needed corrections were picked up in September and never turned in. All the while we never heard from him or received updates unless we questioned him. We have now found and honest architect and reliable contractor and have started the process with them.

    This guy is a scammer, I along with other defrauded people have started the process to get his license revoked. He lied about inspections being passed so he could receive money. He doesn't pay employees, and does not respond to phone calls or messages, heck he has not even responded to the complaints from CSLB. I will be looking into pressing criminal charges against him for fraud. His Name is Walter H Chocon. DO NOT DEAL with this guy!!!
