I hired Bill Van Dalsem’s previous company, Horizon, to remodel my home. He held me hostage in a torn-up home, sucked me dry, then dumped me. A CSLB inspection found workmanship issues with all 10 of the items they chose to inspect.
It will cost me $100k to correct the work Horizon completed. Avoid at all cost.
We hired both of Bills companies ... Horizon through our general contractor and then Bill's other company Western Sunset Builders. Bill's work is not good (i have breakers tripping, lights flickering, fans not working properly) and most of the time Bill just stands there while his worker Josh Eubanks works. Most of the time Josh will stay at the job for no more than 2 hours. Josh is rude and unprofessional at times. Bill has taken money (under the pretense of progress payments) and not finished the job that has been lingering since the last 9 months. Avoid this company.
