Can not say enough about Ron Schnaufer, owner of Westshore Homes and Renovations. Feel we won the lottery by choosing him as our builder. His attention to detail is second nature and has made our building process fun. He has a lot of experience and it shows. He's always available and is tremendous help in eliminating stress that often accompanies the building process. His ability to strategically stage a custom built home has been the biggest blessing. From moving the dishwasher to better accommodate convenience to eliminating closet doors as a way to create more workable space are just a couple to mention... Mistakes are inevitable when building, however having a professional eye that is able to catch and correct quickly is vitally important thus creating a smooth building process for the customer. During our building process we had a tornado go down our street causing significant damage to just about every home... Our structure was virtually untouched. I credit this to the high quality material used and thorough workmanship. Ron even hired a private inspector who was more thorough than the one provided by the city. Ron Schnaufer exceeding all expectations. Our home is more beautiful then ever imagined! Not only beautiful, but also convenient and well organized. Choosing Ron was the best decision we made. He really helped us understand where to spend money to make the biggest difference and enhance the quality, the living and investment of our new home. We cannot thank him enough! He is the best!

Lynne and I just wanted to send you a note to say a big Thank You!! What
you did to our house was nothing short of amazing. You turned a 1978 built
house into a showplace that we now call home!
Where do we start? Everything that you have done is worth a compliment!
I asked you to build me a bar and with your design ideas, you surpassed any
expectation that we had. We have never seen anything like it anywhere. Your
craftsmanship and attention to detail are second to none. We have shown our
friends pictures and the reviews are all the same, WOW!!! We are still getting
compliments from our open house.
Your idea to eliminate the hallway to give us a larger and more open
kitchen area was brilliant. What a difference your ideas have made. Our kitchen
should be featured in magazines! It is so large and open and brings both ends of
the house together. Just as with the bar area, the kitchen drew a lot of WOWS!!
Another feature for a magazine would be the master bathroom. What a
difference and what a way to make that wing a true master suite. It looks
awesome! The cabinets and granite in the other two baths make a huge
difference as did your re-make of the fireplace. I don't want to forget the garage,
laundry room wall, and outdoor storage area, as all add value and uniqueness to
our home.
Ron, it is hard to do a remodel long distance. But with you, everything was
just as you said it would be. Your eye for detail and the fact that you personally
supervised every aspect and every contractor that worked in our house, gave us a
very secure feeling. You are truly a man of your word and a genius at what you
do. On both your business card and brochure the phrase "Exceeding
Expectations" is featured. Ron, without question, your work vastly exceeded our
expectations. Both your work and professionalism greatly surpass any previous
experiences we have had with builders and remodelers.
We thank you for making a 1978 house our dream home. We could not be
happier with the way it turned out. If you ever need a reference please call us or
have your potential customer call or come for a look. We will gladly tell anyone
what a class person you are to work with! You are the best!
