  Master Bath Remodel

  Highly recommend

  Y &R Construction just remodeled my master bathroom and did a great job. They were very professional and timely. If something was not to my satisfaction they owned it and corrected it quickly. The quality of the work was very good. The follow up and responsiveness great. I work in SF but live in Southern California and they called me to ask questions and clarify as was appropriate. I really appreciated this since I was not around. The pricing was reasonable. I highly recommend them. Communicate with them in a professional manner and they will be responsive

  poor workmanship

  Y & R is miserable and irresponsible contractor. Installed faulty paint and was never reliable in following up, and of course has refused to fix it. blamed all hi subcontractor's, even though he was responsible for the work, if you research Y & R you will find many complaints of poor workmanship and use of substandard materials which he chooses without feedback from clients.

  As we go on with the false accusations of the y and r construction just look at the contractors state board to see that the contractor has a perfect score with all his jobs and the quality of work is outstanding. I highly recommend this contractor for any type of work, from remodels, additions, landscaping to custom homes. He's done it all

  I actually worked on in that job as subcontractor and when Larry was complaining about the windows flaking and peeling was because the contractor roger was telling him the paint needed to do the job right, but as we all know now Larry the I want everything done for home depot contractors standing outside prices but Bob Villa finishes didn't want to pay by the way if I remember correctly their were over 50 windows at his house and the contractor told him he would charge him $35 a window, but Larry I walk on myelbows wanted to pay only $25 a window, so the end result was not the right material needed and that was a result of being a cheap ass. You get what you pay for.

  Larry is a fraud who was trying to milk y and r const. Their were at least 20 change orders and he didn't want to pay. All the employees hated being their because all he did was nag about everything. The work was outstanding and completed in a timely fashion. The delays were all the changes that Larry wanted for free and based on the last I heard he never finished paying the contractor the rest of his money, but yet again he received a final from the city so obviously the work was done right. Unfortunately theirs scam artist like Larry who try and take advantage of the contracting laws in this state

  This constructor is amazing! I hired Y and R to paint my whole house (walls, doors, crown-molding, stair, windows, closets, pantry, garage) when I first moved into my home. I needed my house done ASAP because the furniture delivery got pushed forward. Roger (owner) was so understandable and completely changed his schedule to come in on Friday instead of Monday. He and his crew worked over the weekend to have my house ready for Monday. And that’s not all! On Monday afternoon he came to check if anything needed retouching from the furniture delivery. I was very happy with how everything turned out! I'm planning on hiring Y and r for remodeling my kitchen and master bathroom.

  Avoid this contractor at all costs. This contractor is very problematic. our experience is as follows:
  1- highly disorganized with no sysytems to support follow up on key changes which leads ot ongoing mishaps increaseded costs and lot time
  2- dp s not finish work --leaves jobs incomplete and causes the owner to have to work very hard to get to completion
  3- late late late-- 300k remodel took over a year with our family (2 young children) out of the house for over 8 months! we, the customer, had to finish the job!
  4- poor workmanship-- we have had to redo windows and walls, cabinets chipping after first month of completion.
  5- wil not provide matched paint so that we can touch up
