Terrible quality work. Quoted one month job still not complete after five months.
Tom and his crew are painfully incompetent. Countless corners are cut in attempts to save on material costs, despite quoting and paying for high end materials. Tom fails to bring specified materials and does what wants/thinks he can get away with. When questioned, Tom suggests his cheap import materials are superior.
All walls Yale construction built is crooked and electrical wiring is downright dangerous. Floors were improperly prepped and noisy. Trim is sloppy, cracked and misaligned throughout. Paint work is on par with what a slumlord would offer a rent control tenant they want gone. Doors were installed backwards in some places and upside down in others. Yale corrected the doors when brought to their attention but left the holes from their incorrect installation! Doors were trimmed very poorly with major chipping along the edges which Tom fills with joint compound. Light switches and outlets installed upside down and not flush with walls. After comnplaing numerous times, some items were improved but nothing was properly fixed. Horrid trim work and switches were 'fixed' by smearing caulk all around seams. Workers did not use any painters tape or similar anywhere, so lines between trim and walls look like a child painted with their finger.
Prior to the job being complete, Tom started demanding more money. He ultimately never finished the original quoted job, did a terrible job of all he attempted and quit once the last installment was made.
On a positive note, we had many valuables in the home during this painful renovation and Yale construction was caught stealing only some of our tools and most of our cell phone chargers.
Tom is a terrible manager of his workers and Yale Remodeling does truly awful work. His workers also found it necessary to leave urine in our toilet (they don't flush) on a daily basis. One would be better off hiring random people loitering in the parking lot of Home Depot. Avoid Yale!!!
