ZainOdonnell were referred to me by a family friend who works in the HVAC business. Basically, the blower motor on my air handler died and needed replacement. I informed the large HVAC company that we were under a service plan with that this was the case and they came out for a >$100 service call, only to inform me that we needed a new blower motor and it was time to start thinking about a whole new system as ours uses R22 refrigerant and if it leaks, it cannot be repaired... I had called the large HVAC company and said to come and replace the blower motor, so, I was a little confused as to why I was being told what the problem when I already knew and why they were pushing a whole new system. They provided me a day later (with what seemed to be an outrageous quote for a new blower motor) at which time I spoke to our friend in the business and he hooked me up with ZainOdonnell. I should also add that I had heat from a wood burning fireplace insert, so my family was warm and I could be flexible on times for work to be done.
Chad Odonnell came over that evening and diagnosed the problem quickly and informed us that he'd just have to go get a motor from a supply house and it would be a quick swap and we should be good to go. He was professional, reasonable, and very capable. I will be cancelling my "service" plan with the large HVAC company and go with ZainOdonnell for system maintenance and upkeep. I would not hesitate to have them come into your home and give you a honest (and realistic) solution to whatever your HVAC problems may be.Ryan S. 13 Jan 2013

Terrible experience. We replaced our AC unit. They installed a new system and after numerous visits attempted to tell us that the unit was fine. We were forced to call out a competing company who informed us the system, was overcharged by 200%. They fixed the issue within an hour. Zain O'Donnell informed us that they would repay us in July of 2014 and to date we have not received payment. Their service and ethics are both severely lacking. I would highly recommend NOT using them.
