We acccepted a bid from John, he seemed nice and enthusiastic, said our deck would take 7 to 9 days. Over a month later he said it was done, except part of the wire railing,which had to be ordered. We paid him in full, he asked for more. We are on Social Security and could not afford more than the contract that he had given us. He left and has not returned.. The deck is not to code, we had a contractor tell us it would be 2 to 3 thousand to get it to code. No one seems to know where the wire railing came from, it is very loose and not safe. John does not respond to us. Not a man to be trusted.
