Receive bids

We’ll send a formal RFP (request for proposal) to your preferred candidates to bids. Your advisor will monitor and follow up with your candidates to make sure you receive numbers quickly.

Apply for financing

If you need financing, we can introduce you to trusted lender options and put together a lender packet for you.

Align bids

Every general contractor has their own way of bidding, which can make it hard to understand the best option. Our experts' review bids to ensure nothing was omitted or incorrectly specified. We then standardize all the bids so they are easy to compare. This process eliminates changes mid-flight, removing complexity and issues down the line.

We collect and analyze lots of construction data — over 3.5 million contractor licenses and 200 million building permit records across the US. This information gives us deep insight into who’s done what type of work, where, and for how much. From here we look at reviews and vet and interview candidates. Our recommendations are not only great contractors, but they are the right great contractor for your job.
How much does it cost to use BuildZoom?
BuildZoom's contractor sourcing and vetting service is completely free. Every project gets a dedicated project consultant who will help get things in place so you have the information you need to make an informed hiring decision. Do you handle the actual construction of my project?
BuildZoom is not a contractor. We are a consultant that helps you through the construction process. We help you plan and help you build a team to ensure the success of your project. We believe in the Abraham Lincoln saying, "If you give me six hours to cut down a tree, I would spend the first four sharpening the axe." Our goal is to sharpen the axe, so you are set up for success.
Can you help me get financing?
We will make an introduction to our recommended lenders and help put together your lender packet, which will make the process easier, speed it up, and increase the likelihood of success.
