Terrible contractor. Michael started off good but was/is a nightmare. Facts: We were doing a small house renovation. Our architect referred us to Michael. It was a contracted 5-month job. After the mildest winters on record. Michael managed to be behind schedule but we are reasonable people & didn't freak out, and the work that was done appeared to be quality work, so we continued to work with him (even moved into a hotel for a month. At 3 1/2 months behind schedule and a few key elements missing (I.e. HVAC, Heat, MasterBath, etc), Michael abandoned the project and/is nowhere to be found website vanished, not answering calls, email, text, and to top it all off, he took off with some of our money as well (I've had at least 2 subs show up at my door looking for him and the money he's stiffed). Now we're left to pick up the pieces to finish our "dream" home project and have had to hire a lawyer to pursue him and all the unscrupulous things that this "general contractor"did. It's a nightmare.
