This company did some work on my property as part of a 203K FHA loan. During their time working on the property there was a theft of a washer and dryer by one of the workers. The owner, Harry, promised to pay for the appliance but never did. When i attempted to file a claim on their insurance for the loss, i was informed by the insurance company that he had cancelled his policy after beginning work on the house so the loss was not covered. Harry stopped answering my calls for five months until he tried to collect full payment for his work. The Work was supposed to be completed in no more than a month as quoted by the contractor but the work was never fully completed. Any work that was completed was of very poor quality, and most was only partially finished. I had to hire a second contractor to complete all of the work that he did not finish and to correct his mistakes in order to close out my loan.

Complete sham of an operation. Poured a concrete sidewalk in heavy rain; broke several pipes during studding of basement (which we had to pay to repair); failed to level floor before installing ceramic floor (550 sq ft) causing floor to be uneven; installed said floor sloppily so much so the grout was caked on in many areas; cancelled insurance policy so we could not file a claim; used day laborers and offered NO supervision so work was done without any workmanship; job was already 4 months behind when he walked off job and never returned calls again. I had to hire a second contractor to complete FHA Rehab Loan to close it out. Harry Smith of HARDOS LLC is a COMPLETE con artist.
