I stumbled across these comments and I will tell you Danny Silsbe is a good man. Contrary to what these commits a ledge he has personally lifted our home, put a foundation under our home and all within 6-weeks without incident at a competitive price. Mr. Silsbe portfolio of years experience speaks for itself and has done work for others that we have referred him too. His crew was professional and courteous and would recommend his company. Mr. Silsbe has invested a great deal in bringing a huge amount of equipment to Long Island and lends a helping hand to others that are in need whenever he can. Mr. Silsbe is a native Islander graduating from Patchogue Medford HS. His father was and most of his family are in the construction business We do know his company has the proper insurances, and is licensed in Suffolk County. According to a reliable source his license in Nassau County was suspended due to clerical mistakes made by the consumer affairs office. I am sure the competition will try to make a field day of his misfortune. Checking with others he lifted for they had no complaints about his workmanship. Check his referrals from reliable sources and I'm sure for any one that would not refer him there are ten that would. Danny and his workers are professional hard working men.

Dan Silsbe is a very good con artist! He claimed he could be a one stop shop, soon after we hired him and gave a significant deposit we found if you google him and his son Daniel, you will find them on the MOST WANTED LISTS!!!!!!!!! This whole family especially Dan (the father) has been sued over 70 times, has filed bankruptcy 13 times. And let me tell you he will look you straight in the eye and tell you exactly what you want to hear, every word out of his mouth is a LIE. He has lost his license in Nassau county and the City of Long Beach. He was arrested how ironic on the one year anniversary of sandy by Long Beach police for 3 degree grand larceny. More people should step up and file a formal complaint if he has deposits from you, I believe he will soon return to the south with all the deposits he has taken from Sandy victims

Dan Silsbe DBA Heavy Construction and disaster relief came to NY shortly after Superstorm Sandy. I have personally witnessed his work including lifting homes and building cement foundations. This company lifted homes without building permits being issued. They poured foundation footings with out using wood forms, they only dug a form in the dirt and poured cement directly into it. As required by building code the footings were never inspected by a building inspector. Residents have called the city because of the poor working site conditions. I have met with Mr. Silsbe on two occasions. Mr. Silsbe the owner of Heavy Construction and disaster relief has taken very large sums of money from home owners damaged by Superstorm Sandy before doing any work then holding them captive as he makes them wait until he is ready to complete the work. I would not recommend hiring this company to do any work.....
