  Kitchen Remodel

  I truly regret the day I hired Brian Wickman of Wickman Construction. He was given to me as a subcontractor from Home Depot. From the very beginning it was a disaster. My appliances are worth around 10k. Brian requested that I leave them in the construction zone despite my reluctance and fear of them getting scratched. He proceeded to say “That never happens” and I had no choice. All three of my high end appliances and my ceiling fan are scratched due to the stupidity of his crew. He said he would fix the refrigerator but he never once called me about it or discussed it with me. He never gave me anything in writing. He has a very pompous arrogant way about him. Almost as if he is too important to call or stop in at his work sites. Whenever there were major errors, which happened frequently, instead of coming to check on the job, he was out booking more work. He could care less. He will tell you what you want to hear like a “snake oil salesmen” to get a job. He said he could do mosaic tile. I trusted him to do the job but instead he presented me with a shoddy job. When I called his “office”. (His office is his mother’s house. His mother Mary answers the phone while she watches his 200 children. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard children in the background while she was on the phone. So he actually doesn’t have an office. He lives with his momma and basically tries to appear as if he is this huge professional when he actually isn’t.) His answer to his disgusting job was “we are not done”. I’m attaching pictures of the shoddy tile job to this review. The job needs to be torn done and redone. It’s horrible and not up to industry standard. How dare he! Please be careful of this guy. I did some research and he has some complaints against him currently with consumer affairs. And he may have another shortly. He sent a plumber named Mike to my house and the plumber was very aggressive. He said sexually inappropriate words to me and I was extremely upset for days. I wasn’t about to let them back in my house after that. That was the last thing to make me say, I’ve had enough. It’s now 7 months later and I have an incomplete kitchen, I’ve gained 25 pounds and my cholesterol is up. I’m very angry and ready for war if this isn’t resolved and everyone does not do the right thing soon here. I’m sharing my story so anyone thinking about hiring this clown will look elsewhere

  Was on time at first then dragged their feet, “supervisor” broke a lock then stated that it came that way, installed door without notching out strike plate and nailed molding up making so molding has to be removed, did bathroom work that left water damage to cabinet from faucet.
